Course Requirements

The qualification has accessible entry requirements, but learners must be able to participate safely in practical emergency response activities and complete assessments.

  • No prior first aid or basic life support experience is required

Assessments

Assessment is mandatory and is conducted through ICTQual AB Approved Training Centres to confirm learners’ understanding and ability to apply basic life support concepts.

  • Quizzes consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions

  • Assessment of comprehension of course material and application of concepts in practical situations

  • Minimum required pass score of 75%

Progression

Successful learners can progress to higher-level first aid, emergency response, healthcare, and safety-related qualifications or roles.
