  • Being 19 years old or older at the beginning of the course

  • Minimum core of literacy, language, numeracy, and ICT skills

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in their own area of specialism, OR mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience

  • Evidence of English language competency for learners not from majority English-speaking countries

Assessments

This qualification is internally assessed and quality assured by the centre, then externally quality assured by OTHM. It is a knowledge and demonstration-based qualification assessed through portfolio evidence demonstrating achievement of all learning outcomes.

  • Portfolio of evidence including demonstration of practice and written work

  • Assignment tasks submitted via e-portfolio system

  • Reports from work practice where possible considering GDPR requirements

  • Criterion-referenced assessment based on achievement of all specified learning outcomes
