The IOSH Level 6 Diploma enables future leaders to gain a business-focused understanding of how OSH best practice can drive business benefits when embedded across an organisation, wherever it operates around the world.

Successful completion meets the academic requirements for IOSH Graduate Membership (GradIOSH) and Technical Membership (TechIOSH).
To be awarded the IOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Leadership and Management, learners are required to successfully complete three mandatory units that focus on the IOSH competency framework.
1. Advanced OSH management principles in organisations
Enabling learners to demonstrate advanced understanding of OSH legal frameworks and management principles, drawing from the Technical competencies, and assessing the ability to apply, develop and appraise different management approaches in the context of an organisation.
2. OSH integration within an organisation
Enabling learners to critically appraise OSH performance within an organisation and demonstrate a wide appreciation of how internal and external factors can influence OSH decision making, drawing from the Technical areas of culture and sustainability along with Core business competencies.
3. Leading and influencing in OSH
Enabling learners to demonstrate understanding and application of leadership skills that equip them to influence, challenge and drive change within OSH in an organisation, drawing from the Behavioural and Core competencies in the context of OSH.
The IOSH Level 6 Diploma is designed for ambitious occupational safety and health professionals, who have or aspire to have responsibility in their organisation for managing occupational safety and health policy, procedures, and practice, reporting to or as a member of the senior leadership team.
