Course Requirements

There are no formal academic entry requirements for this qualification as specified by ProQual. Centres are required to carry out an initial assessment of each candidate's existing skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and inform the individual assessment plan.

  • An initial assessment of prior skills and knowledge must be conducted by the approved centre before the assessment plan is confirmed

Assessments

Assessment for this qualification is conducted on a Pass / Fail basis. Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence demonstrating achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for every unit. Assessment is internally conducted and verified by centre staff and externally verified by ProQual Verifiers.

  • Observation reports completed by a qualified assessor and/or expert witness testimony
