Course Requirements

Entry to this qualification requires learners to hold prior qualifications or relevant management experience, and to meet English language requirements where applicable.

  • Relevant Level 4 Diploma qualification or equivalent, OR GCE Advanced level in 3 subjects or equivalent, OR mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (to be confirmed with the delivery centre prior to registration)

  • Learners must be 18 years of age or older at the start of the programme

  • Learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide evidence of English language competency in line with OTHM English Language Expectations

Assessments

All units within this qualification are assessed through internally marked coursework, externally verified by OTHM. The qualification is criterion-referenced, meaning learners must demonstrate achievement of all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria to be awarded a pass.

  • Internally assessed written coursework assignments for each unit (approximately 3,000 words per unit)

  • All assessment criteria under each unit's learning outcomes must be fully met to achieve a pass

  • External verification of all assessed work conducted by OTHM quality verifiers

  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) available for individual units where sufficient prior evidence exists
