Course Requirements
Applicants must meet the following official entry requirements set by OTHM before enrolling onto the Level 6 Diploma in Business Management qualification. All requirements must be verified with the approved delivery centre prior to registration.
Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent recognised qualification; mature learners (over 21) with management experience may also be considered (subject to centre verification)
Learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course
English language competency is required for learners not from a majority English-speaking country; evidence of competency must be provided in line with OTHM's English Language Expectations
Assessments
All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the approved centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualification is criterion referenced, meaning achievement is based on meeting all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit. There is no external examination; assessment is entirely through coursework submitted and marked by the centre assessor.
Coursework assignments of approximately 3500 words per unit, based on the application of relevant theories and concepts to a defined business context
All learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit must be demonstrated to achieve a Pass grade
The assessor provides a full audit trail showing how the judgement of overall achievement has been arrived at
External verification is carried out by OTHM to ensure consistency and quality of assessment across all approved centres
