You’ll learn the following:

  • Nature of hazard & risk control
  • Range & function of gases in confined space
  • SSOW & PTW, Selection of PPE
  • Rescue equipment used in confined space
  • Safe rescue from working at height & water environments
  • Management of casualties
  • Recording & reporting of accidents/incidents

This qualification is assessed by Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) & practical demonstration. To Awarded this qualification the Learner must achieve a percentage pass in the MCQ.

Generally, you should expect to undertake 16 hours of learning in order to successfully complete this qualification.

The Level 2 Award in Emergency Rescue from Confined Space is valid for a period of three years.

You’ll need to undertake a Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) exam and complete a practical demonstration in order to gain the certificate. The Learner must achieve a percentage pass in the MCQ in order to be awarded the qualification.
