Course Requirements

There are no formal academic entry requirements for this qualification. Centres must carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and inform the assessment plan. Candidates must be engaged in a role or training programme that allows them to generate relevant evidence.

  • Candidates must be aged 19 years or older on the day of registration

  • Candidates must be employed in a relevant role or enrolled in a training course that enables generation of evidence against all assessment criteria

Assessments

Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence demonstrating achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for every unit. All units in this qualification are knowledge-based; evidence is expected to take the form of written work and/or records of appropriate professional discussions. Assessment is internally verified by centre staff and externally verified by ProQual verifiers. The overall result is awarded on a Pass/Fail basis.
