This Ofqual-regulated qualification comprises six mandatory units totaling 60 credits, 600 Total Qualification Time hours, and 240 Guided Learning Hours completed over one year.

The OTHM Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Employability and Workplace Skills provides learners with a comprehensive range of knowledge, understanding, personal skills, and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. Learners develop a body of knowledge about workplace employment and employability across various sectors, gaining facts, theories, ideas, skills, terminology, practices, and techniques associated with workplace skills and employment. Successful completion equips learners with the underpinning knowledge and skills required to succeed in employment or pursue further studies at Level 4. The programme is approved and regulated by Ofqual and maintains progression arrangements with several UK universities, enabling learners to advance into corresponding degree programmes or OTHM Level 4 diplomas. The qualification represents practical knowledge, skills, capabilities, and competences assessed in academic terms as being equivalent to GCE AS/A Levels.
