Course Requirements

Learners must be aged 19 or above and possess foundational academic skills and prior qualifications or relevant professional experience.

  • Minimum age of 19 years at the beginning of the course

  • Minimum core competency in literacy, language, numeracy and ICT

  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in own area of specialism OR mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience

  • English language competency for non-native speakers as per OTHM requirements

Assessments

All units are internally assessed and quality assured by the centre, then externally verified by OTHM using criterion-referenced standards based on achievement of learning outcomes.

  • Case study assessment for Unit 1 Equality and Diversity

  • Multiple assessment methods for Unit 2 including case study, report and presentation

  • Research proposal for Unit 3 Action Research

  • Evidence must demonstrate fulfillment of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria to achieve a pass
