• Perform primary and secondary surveys to assess a child’s condition

• Demonstrate effective CPR techniques for infants and children and use an AED correctly

• Manage unresponsive casualties, choking, bleeding, fractures, burns, poisoning, bites, stings, and shock

• Recognize and respond to childhood conditions including asthma, allergic reactions, and febrile seizures
