Course Requirements

There are no formal academic entry requirements for this qualification. Centres are required to carry out an initial assessment of each candidate's skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and inform the individual assessment plan prior to registration.

  • Candidates must be aged 19 years or older on the day of registration

  • Relevant work experience in environmental management, sustainability, or a related field is advantageous

  • English language proficiency appropriate for academic and technical study is expected

  • No specific prior qualification is mandated; however, a background in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial

Assessments

Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence demonstrating achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for every unit. Assessment is conducted internally by occupationally competent centre assessors and externally verified by ProQual verifiers. The qualification is awarded on a Pass/Fail basis.
