Course Requirements

Entry onto this qualification requires learners to hold an appropriate prior qualification and meet the minimum age requirement. English language competency is also required for non-native English speakers.

  • Hold a relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 4 diploma or equivalent recognised qualification (mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience may also be considered — confirm with the delivery centre prior to registration)

  • Be 18 years or older at the start of the course

  • Provide evidence of English language competency if not from a majority English-speaking country (refer to OTHM's English Language Expectations for accepted tests and minimum scores)

Assessments

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the approved centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualification uses a criterion-referenced approach based on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes for each unit.

  • Written assignments and coursework submitted per unit (typically approx. 3500 words per unit)

  • Portfolio of evidence demonstrating application of knowledge and skills

  • Internal assessment by a qualified centre assessor with a full audit trail of judgement
