Course Requirements

Learners must meet the official OTHM entry requirements to enrol on this qualification. The programme is designed for learners who are typically aged 19 and above with demonstrated competency in core skills.

  • Aged 19 or above at the beginning of the course, with minimum core competency in literacy, language, numeracy, and ICT, plus a minimum Level 3 qualification in their own area of specialism; or mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience (confirmed with the delivery centre prior to registration)

  • Learners from non-majority English-speaking countries must provide evidence of English language competency as per OTHM English Language Expectations requirements

Assessments

All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the approved centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualifications are criterion-referenced, based on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes. To achieve a pass for a unit, learners must provide evidence demonstrating fulfilment of all learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria.
