Course Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, centres are required to carry out an initial assessment of each candidate's skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and to inform assessment planning. Candidates must currently work or have recent verifiable experience in a construction contracting operations management role.

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate competence in a live workplace environment (workplace evidence cannot be simulated)

Assessments

This qualification is competency-based and must be assessed entirely in a real work environment in accordance with the CITB Consolidated Assessment Strategy for Construction and the Built Environment. It is internally assessed and verified by centre staff, with external quality assurance conducted by ProQual verifiers. Each candidate must produce a portfolio of evidence demonstrating achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit attempted.
