Course Requirements
Entry onto the OTHM Level 6 Diploma in Accounting and Business requires learners to meet specific academic and language criteria. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the course.
Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent recognised qualification; or mature learners (over 21) with relevant management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering)
Evidence of English language competency for learners not from a majority English-speaking country (minimum IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, with Reading and Writing at 5.5)
Assessments
All units within this qualification are internally assessed by the approved delivery centre and externally verified by OTHM. The qualification is criterion-referenced and based on the achievement of all specified learning outcomes. There are no written examinations.
Written assignments submitted for each of the six mandatory units
Internal assessment by a qualified centre Assessor against all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria
External verification of all internally assessed work carried out by OTHM
An audit trail provided by the Assessor demonstrating how judgement of the learner's overall achievement was reached; a Pass is awarded upon satisfactory evidence of all learning outcomes
